  1. Chelt refers to Cheltenham and Gara - to Garamond font. Both are old, Garamond was around for several hundred years! There are articles on them on Wiki.
    Wondering what Diane did and who is she.

    Thanks for the info on the typefaces. I'd like to try and get the newspaper to see the finished results. I've been searching around so hopefully one day.

    I wondered as well about Diane or Dian it seems that she was a copywriter according to the notes written on "Mike Hinge 114". It would be nice if she was still about I imagine her as "Peggy Olson" from "Mad Men".

    The paper isn't opaque at all. It is a thin paper probably newspaper print paper. The unusual thing about it is how the image was put onto the paper, it looks printed, perhaps Some sort of early photostat machine or using some sort of carbon paper transfer?
