Fantastic femme fatale allure similar to the look of Edie Sedgwick and Twiggy. The female face with the dark eye make up was a subject that Mike Hinge used to great successes in his artwork.

This is a version of a detail from the poster "Area 5 Viewscreen" from the set of posters called "The Hinge Electric Poster Trip". As well this can also be seen on the front cover of "Modern Science Fiction: Its Meaning and its Future" edited by Reginald Bretnor (expanded edition).

This image is a mystery anyone that can possibly shed any light on what the image represents and who it is in the picture would be appreciated. Could it have been another Time magazine cover?

UPDATE: 15/05/2011 - Thank you to Cecilia that pointed out that these portraits resembled Douglas Fairbanks Jnr, in the 1947 film version of "Sinbad the Sailor". I am happy to believe that this is correct.
