Mike Hinge 117
Mike Hinge - Penny's Shoes and Purses Spring Clean 2. Marker pen and pencil on tracing paper. Approximate size 60x70cm. Date: 9th of May 1965. Unsigned.
actually, that looks like marker to me on tracing paper. a darker marker color as well as at least one slightly lighter color. maybe even two lighter markers...if that makes sense.
Hi Cecilia I'm guilty as charged. Yes this one and 116 are on tracing paper. The marker pen is a good point, I sometimes find it difficult to differentiate between pen and ink and brush and marker pen, I have to admit i probably have got this wrong on quite a few of the posts. I agree that this is two shades of marker pen but the spider web and borders are drawn in pencil.
back in those days (yikkies, this makes me feel old, LOL) a set of markers was common for drawing Layouts like this.
If I feel ambitious and have some time I can look over all the images you have here and make sure they are as accurately described as I can see them. (with my old eyes, har har)
Hi Cecilia Thanks for that offer, if you get the time! I know in retrospect a few that I got wrong but learnt since. Now let me change this one to marker pen...
